Indonesia private universities are different from Thailand ones. In Indonesia, private universities are highly recognized in its society and may even more than public ones, which is similar to USA. UAD is one of the Muhammadiyah University173 branches, all over Indonesia. These Universities are part of Muhammadiyah, Islamic organization having 50-millon members and operating in moderate way. All of the Muhammadiyah Universities including UAD highlight the study of science especially in medicine. After this lecture, I was invited to give two more in Yogyakarta at Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta and Muhammadiyah – to make it worthwhile for inviting me.
