On 14th-15th September B.E. 2560 (2017) at 08.00 a.m. – 04.30 p.m., Assit. Prof. Banchong Withayametha, Vice Director of The Halal Science Center of Chulalongkorn University, and HSC staffs held the campaign, called “Workshop Seminar for Developing Halal Food Entrepreneur”. On this occasion,Mr. Sumate Sasitorn, Mayor of Municipal Town of Sadow, gave an honor to be the president of the opening ceremony. Then, Mr. Fukrudeen Taportor, staff of HSC Academic Research and Service Unit, lectured on the topic of “Quality Management for Halal Food Product Guarantee”, Ms. Arseyor Lateh, staff of HSC Academic Research and Service Unit, spoke with the topic of “Pin Pointing of Critical Haram Points in Halal Food Manufacturing” and in the afternoon, Mr. Pitak Ardmarrea, Head of Manufacturing Service Unit, was an master of ceremony in the session of “Haram Hazard Analyzing in Halal Food Manufacturing.” The workshop went very well with 100 of participants.
The Halal Science Center of Chulalongkorn University, Chaingmai Office, held the event, called “Unseen Lanna 2017: Clear Sky under His Graciousness”, consisting of Lanna authentic halal product exhibition zone. There were more than 60 excellent booths and an exhibition from The Halal Science Center of Chulalongkorn University, which informs several interesting topics, such as “One Belt, One Road”, informing the information of the 21st Century Silk Road. This 21st century road contains land sea trade routes, which connects 3 continents together, and “3-D photo shooting booth” helping entrepreneurs taking photos and 360-degree videos in order to develop the appearance of their products The event was held during 15th– 24th September B.E. 2560 at Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre at 10.00 a.m. to 08.00 p.m.
On 11th August B.E. 2560 (2017), Delegates from The Halal Science Center Chulalongkorn University (HSC) were Ms. Sulida Wangchi, Ms. Suninee Mahama and Ms. Waranya Ridmad along with delegates from The Central Islamic Committee of Thailand and The Halal Standard Institute of Thailand are Mr. Phubase Poesoe and Mr. Bakiya Bindorloh, respectively. They participated in this national workshop seminar in the topic of “20-year Vision Driving and the 2560-2564 B.E. 3rd Plan of the 5-year Plan of IMT-GT” at The Sukosol Bangkok.
On 14th-16th September B.E. 2560 (2017) during 10.00 a.m. – 08.00 p.m., Ms. Kunthira Salae and Ms. Chalearmsri Chayassatit, Staffs of Academic Research and Service Unit, The Halal Science Center Chulalongkorn University (HSC), participated and exhibited the research of “Sun Block Cream Mixing with White Clay (Kaolin) and Black Seed Oil”, which was selected by Academic Service Center Chulalongkorn University to be showed in “Invovation for change, Chulalongkorn university” zone in “TIDE :Thailand innovation and design expo 2017.” In the event at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, there are some highlights such as Innovation showcase, Startup pavilion and i+D style café.
On Tuesday 29th August B.E. 2560 (2017), The Halal Science Center Chulalongkorn University (HSC) with The Islamic Council of Pathum Thani Province went to certify the HAL-Q system for Jacobs Douwe Egberts TH Limited, producing “Moccona” coffee. Mr. Siri Kantong, religious academic, Mr. Anat Denhyingyot, head of the auditoring team, and Mr. Nuntachai Dangvijit, HAL-Q auditor. This audit covers 7 products and there are HAL-Q staffs from the company helpfully involved in this audit.
On 23rd-27th September B.E. 2560 (2017), Assoc. Prof. Winai Dahlan, Founding Director of The Halal Science Center Chulalongkorn University, Mr. Anat Denhyingyot, Head of Manufacturing Service Unit, and Mr. Pratchya Chimvisaed, Vice Director of The Standard Halal Thailand Institute, were invited from Polish Institute of Halal to participate, an international conference, “World Halal East Convention-2017” at Poznan Congress Center, Poznan, Poland. This conference was holding in the same time with, the biggest food expo in Poland, “Polaga Food 2017”. Dr. Winai was invited to be a moderator of ceremony in the seminar of “Potential of Halal SME Development” and gave a special lecture of “Introduction of Halal Big data house (HABIDAH) for Thailand Halal 4.0”, both of which were very interested by participants and received a big round of applause and a lot of questions as well as many praises for the advancing of halal science in Thailand.
Moreover, on Sunday 23rd before participating in the conference, the group had an honored opportunity to meet and discuss with Mrs. Sansanee Sahussarungsi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of The Royal Thai Embassy in Warsaw, Poland. The group were very grateful to be welcomed with a heart-felt Thai meal by the Ambassador at The Royal Thai Embassy.
