HSC-CU has opened a course named “General Principles in Halal Food Production” as an elective in General Education for the second semester of the Academic Year 2018. On Wednesday 24 April, 2019 at 13.00-16.00, Chula students taking this course presented their projects in Science and Technology or Halal Certified Products and Services at the HSC-CU. Present at the presentations were Assistant Professor Dr. Sathaporn Ngam-ukote – advisor to the Director for the Laboratory and Miss Sunainee Mahama – a lecturer. The presentations and discussions were based on the knowledge gained from this course and from the field study of the Halal food production at the Thai Airways Catering Department. Some of the projects worth mentioning were projects on Halal Cruise, Halal Stocks, Robotic System for Airplane Food Service, Halal Food Truck, and Halal Resorts. All the projects were interesting and well presented.
