On Friday, January 27, B.E. 2560 (2017), the staff from The Halal Science Center, Chulalongkorn University, Pattani Office, executed a CSR campaign namely “From flood to food B.E. 2560 (2017)” by donating deep fried chicken and sticky rice to the flood victims in Ban Due Moe Village. It is located in Pakaharang sub-district, Meung district, Pattani province.
During the visit, the level of water had decreased, and the roads in the area had been restored; the local, despite some obstruct, could finally use them for commodity. Nonetheless, the households by Pattani River had still undergone over 1 meter of flood since they are located near the river and Ban Yue Moe Village itself is a basin which makes drainage more difficult. The villagers, too, still had to use boat to travel.
